"A life-and-death waiver? Who do you think you are, Huo Yuanjia? Don’t worry. Even if there’s an accident, it just means they weren’t prepared. The K-9 unit won’t blame you for it," Bai Yanni said irritably. "So it’s settled. I’ll come to your store to get you tomorrow morning, and you’ll bring Shi Gaofei with me to the K-9 unit."

’Hey, is it really okay for a girl to be this crude?’ Shen Yibin couldn’t listen anymore. "We’re going for official business. Besides, Officer Bai isn’t my girlfriend."

"Who says you can only do it with a girlfriend? We’re in the prime of our lives right now! We should be fully enjoying the wonderful feelings that come with getting it on. Don’t let your best years go to waste, or you’ll regret it when you’re old and the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak." Xia Shixuan’s twisted logic came one theory after another, leaving Shen Yibin speechless.

"Shi Gaofei, I’m taking you for some good fights tomorrow to let you blow off some steam, so we don’t need to train today, right?" Shen Yibin tried to change the subject to escape his embarrassment. ’These girls are a terrifying species.’

Shi Gaofei bared his sharp teeth again, as if mocking Shen Yibin for his wishful thinking, then brought the leash over. It seemed this creature had no intention of letting go of any opportunity to train... er, or rather, to torture Shen Yibin.

We’re going to fight in a little while, can’t you save some energy?’ The sight of the leash was now more terrifying to Shen Yibin than a venomous snake. A snake might be deadly, but it usually wouldn’t attack unless provoked. Shi Gaofei’s leash, however, was inescapable.

After forcing himself through the morning practice with Shi Gaofei, Shen Yibin didn’t even have the strength to drive. In the end, Bai Yanni drove, taking him, Shi Gaofei, and Hah’Er with her. Sylvie and Xia Shixuan, who happened to have the day off, also abandoned their plans and tagged along to watch the show.

Shopping could be done anytime, but the chance to watch Shi Gaofei get into a brawl was a rare one. Along the way, Sylvie kept showing videos and pictures she’d taken in Africa of Shi Gaofei thrashing the champions of the savanna. Xia Shixuan gasped in amazement again and again. She originally thought that Shen Yibin was just putting on a pitiful act during their training sessions to accommodate Shi Gaofei, but now she was finally convinced that Shi Gaofei really did have the ability to utterly dominate him.

"Man, the K-9 unit’s dogs are in for it," Xia Shixuan concluded after seeing the videos and pictures. She could already picture the scene of Shi Gaofei dominating all comers at the K-9 unit.

Before long, the car pulled into the Yunzhong City K-9 Training Base. The dog trainer who came to greet them couldn’t help but look at Shi Gaofei with disdain. "Uh, Officer Bai, isn’t this little guy a bit too small? Maybe we should start with our smallest police dog?"

"Are your police dogs tougher than a lion? How about a bet? I bet not a single dog at your base can beat Shi Gaofei! Whoever loses has to cover the other’s shift." For police officers, time off was far more precious than money, so Bai Yanni was putting up a high stake.

"Sounds good to me. If a beautiful officer like you came to work at our base, Officer Bai, morale would skyrocket even if you did nothing at all." The trainer happily accepted the bet and sent out a well-trained police dog. The dog was wearing a lot of protective gear, and they had prepared some for Shi Gaofei as well, just in case of an accident.

"I don’t think this will be necessary," Shen Yibin said, refusing the gear the trainer offered. He was completely certain the police dog wouldn’t even be able to land a hit on Shi Gaofei. And just as he expected, before Shi Gaofei even showed its full abilities, the police dog was already beaten. It lay on its back, exposing its belly to Shi Gaofei. This result made the trainers feel like they had lost a great deal of face. Blushing, the trainer called out an even more formidable police dog. This one had once taken down three drug traffickers during a chase and was a renowned veteran and hero of the K-9 unit, not only skilled but also highly experienced.

However, its experience was nothing compared to Shi Gaofei, who was "either in a fight or on the way to one." Soon, this star police dog, on which they had placed such high hopes, was defeated and fled in disgrace. ’Well, at least that’s some progress. It didn’t surrender, right?’

Seeing that the trainer was about to send in yet another contender, Shen Yibin sighed softly and said, "It’s no use sending them one by one. Why don’t you just let them all come at once?"
